Am I the only one who hates when you’ve been reading a book and then you suddenly find out like 30 chapters in that a character has a different hair color or skin color or is a different age than you’ve been imagining.
In Vogue’s July cover story, model and actress Cara Delevingne told writer Rob Haskell that she’s particularly happy with who she is these days because she’s in love with her girlfriend, Annie Clark, better known by her stage name St. Vincent. This was the first time Delevingne had talked about her relationship publicly, and yet, on the heels of her revelation, Haskell thought it appropriate to editorialize: “Her parents seem to think girls are just a phase for Cara, and they may be correct.” He then gave Delevingne advice on how to better trust men.

Bulimia isn’t a long haired pretty girl bending over a toilet with a tragically beautiful face on. It’s a puffed miserable face with vomit dripping from it’s chin and a fucking nose bleed. Anorexia isn’t a slim figure shyly refusing a cupcake. It’s hair growing over your freezing malnourished body. Depression isn’t a model with running mascara staring into the sunset. It’s staring at the fucking ceiling at 4 in the morning with burning eyes because you can’t even find the motivation to close them. Self harm isn’t lovely boys kissing your arms telling you you’re still beautiful. It’s nasty fucking scars that will be there forever and showers that sting. Panic attacks aren’t burying your face into your lovers chest and them telling you everything will be okay. It’s feeling out of control and like oxygen has been taken from you. Mental illnesses aren’t beautiful. They don’t make you special and don’t make people suddenly care about you. They’re monsters that destroy lives. So stop taking them lightly and promoting them to impressionable teenagers on the damn internet.
there are five frogs staring at me right now
but only one can be america’s next top model

Hey! I am really late with this, but I though that some of you might like to see how I make my monthly spreads. I did this sort of “infographics” (??? am I even allowed to call this thing infographics??) and even though it looks like this, I had so much fun making it :D. I really don’t know whether this is helpful or not, I tried. In case you’d like to see more tutorials (and hopefully better ones) in the future, let me know please? And thanks if you read it till the end, it’s so long :D
(I totally ran out of space for pictures at the end lol)
